Greg has brought over ten years of professional experience from the business world to the family partnership here at G/R Wealth Management Group, LLC. Prior to joining the team in 2008, Greg acquired and managed multi-million dollar projects in the Chicago area for several contractors in the construction industry. This experience exposed Greg to all the aspects of managing and running an organized as well as a financially sound business.
Although Greg grew up in the financial services industry, few could have predicted he would join his mother, Barbara J. Gawdzik CFP®, in her well established practice. In addition to his background in business, Greg has brought his logistical and technical skills to strengthen and grow the practice.

Greg is a local, having graduated from Fenwick High School. He went on to earn a Bachelor of Science Degree in Construction from Bradley University.
In 2013, he earned his Certificate in Financial Planning from Boston University. Then, Greg went on to attain the CFP®, CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification in 2014.
Greg is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) professional, so you can be sure that he provides comprehensive and professional financial planning services. To earn the CFP® certification, Greg had to complete an approved educational program, pass a rigorous examination and meet stringent experience requirements. Greg also adheres to a professional Code of Ethics and he fulfills annual continuing education requirements to remain aware of current planning strategies and financial trends.
In his free time, Greg enjoys great food, refining his pizza skills with the wood fired oven, wines, craft beers, and cycling along Lake Michigan and the Gulf of Mexico. In addition, he enjoys rooting for the White Sox, Bears, and Blackhawks; plus fishing; SUP (Stand Up Paddle Boarding), playing ice hockey, and traveling the country with his wife, Kim. Greg splits his time between Chicago and the St. Pete/Clearwater area of Florida.
