Barbara has been involved in the financial services industry since 1969. Barbara began her career at Talman Federal Savings & Loan on Chicago’s south side during her junior year of high school (William J. Bogan). She expanded her financial experience there and acquired her securities registrations and the ability to help the public with their financial goals. Barbara further developed her skills and client relationships at David A. Noyes & Co. She helped individuals and families develop detailed and thought out financial plans. In 2014 she partnered with her son, Greg Reichold, to form G/R Wealth Management Group, LLC.

The combination of these experiences with our professional team allows us to take your complex financial life and simplify it with our carefully designed, user-friendly process. This process ultimately gives you the reassurance to confidently pursue your goals.

She attended the University of Illinois at Chicago and went on to start her family. Barbara has two sons, Greg and Andrew. Andrew is a design specialist at Wright Galleries in Chicago.

Barbara earned her CFP®, CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™, certification in 1994. She is a past Board Member of the FPA/Oak Brook Chapter.

Barbara is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) professional, so you can be sure that she provides comprehensive and professional financial planning services. To earn the CFP® certification, Barbara had to complete an approved educational program, pass a rigorous examination and meet stringent experience requirements. Barbara also adheres to a professional Code of Ethics and she fulfills annual continuing education requirements to remain aware of current planning strategies and financial trends.

In her free time, Barb enjoys riding her bicycle and has taken it as far away as Milan. Travel is always a great adventure for her with trips to Europe, India and throughout the USA. Yoga has been part of her life for the last 35 years, and she continues to attend classes three times a week.
